A burgeoning collaboration with epic rock pioneer Jim Steinman garnered both a Grammy nomination and phenomenal international recognition with the album Faster Than The Speed Of Night (1983), and multi-platinum selling power ballad "Total Eclipse Of The Heart." It climbed to No. 1 in the UK and No 4. in the US on it's way to platinum status and features stellar backing from the E Street Band's Roy Bittan and Max Weinberg, Rick Derringer (The McCoys, Steely Dan), Larry Fast (Peter Gabriel, Foreigner, Hall & Oates) and Paul Shaffer (Late Night with David Letterman, Blues Brothers).
